I am a very passionate and dedicated instructor. I can help to encourage you in your artistic development and skills. I graduated with a Bachelors of fine arts in Sculpture and minor in painting from Pratt Institute with (High Class Honors). I also attended Long Island University and received a Masters in Art Therapy. One of my favorite things to do is partner art classes ( couples/ father-daughter/ mother-son) etc. These lessons are fun for the whole family and allow family and friends to connect with one another in a new and refreshing light. I am also currently in Nova Southeastern University pursing a Ph.D in Marraige and family counseling. My teaching experience is quite extensive. I've been hosting painting, ceramic and drawing summer camps and workshops in the Bahamas throughout the past three years . I also host couples art classes in my private practice for the past five years. I have taught in both public and private schools offering sculpture , painting and mixed media classes. Of all the teaching experiences I have had ,I have learned that most importantly honoring each students strengths and individual skills is key toward building the confidence an artist needs to be successful. Therefore each lesson is tailored specifically to your individual needs. I will teach you traditional drawing and painting techniques and also implement my own teaching methods to accentuate your skills.It doesn't matter what your desired goal is , I can help you achieve it.
