Seasoned Economics Tutor willing to customize your sessions with many subtopics of Economics.
Economics is the study of how people make decisions and how these decisions apply to real-world problems. Economics can help us understand income inequality within and across countries, the quality of the environment, unemployment, poverty, crime, health care, financial crises, technological change, inflation and many more issues. Microeconomics deals with consumers, firms, markets and income distribution. Macroeconomics deals with national income, employment, inflation and money. These courses can be calculus-based or non-calculus-based, dependent on the level of economics course with which you require assistance.
About Keith P.

I have over 15 years' experience tutoring various levels of math. Graduating from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2011, I simultaneously earned a B.S. in Math and Economics and an M.S. in Applied Mathematics. My online-tutoring career began in 2017 after leaving a company for which I was developing algorithmic online homework problems for a major publishing firm. For college students, I am quite knowledgeable in MyMathLab and Canvas. Any course that I've taken in the past, I became comfortable explaining to others. I'm also well-versed in the scoring methods for the College Board's Advanced Placement Exams for Calculus AB, Calculus BC, and Statistics. Therefore, math courses that I am comfortable in tutoring include the following: trigonometry; pre-calculus; AP Calc AB/BC; AP Stats; College Statistics; College Calculus 1, 2, and 3; Differential Equations; Linear Algebra; Number Theory; Discrete Mathematics. Technology involved in statistics courses that I can assist with include Excel, R Programming, and Stata. As I also have a degree in economics, I am comfortable with tutoring in Beginner's Economics, Introductory Micro- or Macroeconomics, and Intermediate Microeconomics.

I've been a math tutor since I was a senior in high school back in 2007. While taking math courses for my degrees, I also willing to assist students who were afraid to ask the professor for 1-on-1 help. After graduation, I also realized that I could assist with some economics subjects as well, as many of subtopics are math-based. If I've taken the course myself, I'm also able to tutor in it.
