I am a singer/songwriter that has performed all over the country and I would love to share my expertise with you. 18 years experience performing and 9 years experience teaching. Before moving to Los Angeles I taught at the award-winning Area Stage Company in Miami, FL. I have studied classical piano since the age of four and studied jazz and pop/rock playing under award-winning performer/educator Daniel Strange at the Frost School of Music. I have also studied composition and voice under Dr. Ana Flavia Zuim (music director for Hamilton). I want to cater to whatever you are passionate about because I believe the best way to learn is to be excited about music! 10+ years of songwriting experience. Songs featured in independent films and television shows. International radio play. Certified ASCAP songwriter. Winner of 2011 International Smashtune Songwriting Contest. I am a singer/songwriter, educator, and recording artist who has toured Los Angeles, New York, Washington D.C., Miami, and more. Over the years I have studied classical/jazz/pop piano, musical theater/jazz/pop/rock singing, and contemporary songwriting. I am proud to be winner of the 2011 International Smashtune Songwriting Contest, finalist in the Kauai Music Festival Songwriting Contest, winner of the "18 in America" Songwriting Contest, and finalist of the 2013 GrammyU Amplifier Center Stage Contest. Recently I have worked with seven-time Grammy nominee and "ASCAP Songwriter of the Year" Graham Edwards, and Grammy-winning songwriter/producer/artist RedOne, who is best known for writing hits for Lady Gaga. I have a Bachelor's of Music from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. Before moving to Los Angeles, I taught at the award-winning Area Stage Company in Miami. As a certified ASCAP songwriter, my songs have garnered international radio play. My original songs have been featured in independent films "Another Girl" "Do Not Disturb" "American Financial" and Amazon Prime series "The One That Got Away." Keira is a great teacher! She really cares about what I want to learn and caters the lesson toward my goals. She also always listens when I feel discouraged and can look positively, saying what I am doing well on when giving me feedback and not just things that could be better. I would recommend Keira do anyone!

I couldn't be happier with Keira as my piano teacher! She's a patient, warm, and understanding teacher. I wasn't sure how learning piano would go as an adult starting basically from scratch, but Keira was able to meet me where I was at and pace our lessons accordingly. I've kept up with piano for the last 6 months because I have Keira as a teacher! I always look forward to our weekly session.

Keira is wonderful! She's open-minded, patient, fun, smart. My kids learned from her and she was patient and did songwriting with them which was a total treat, and now I'm learning from her, and I love how she'll roll with my requests, and will also teach me a little music theory here and there. Highly recommended!
