Violin with Keegan D.

I began my professional career in the Boise Philharmonic Orchestra after receiving my B.M. in Viola Performance from the Eastman School of Music. I received my M.M. while in Boise, where I also taught a class on music theory and viola lessons. Shortly after moving to Baltimore, I became the Associate Principal Violist of Symphony Number One, a chamber orchestra with a devotion to performing and commissioning new works. My primary teachers were Phillip Ying, of the Grammy Award winning Ying Quartet, and Linda Kline, of the Boise Philharmonic and IRIS orchestras. I have performed for and coached with Roberto Diaz, Nokuthula Ngwenyama, Emanuella Ritter, Michelle LaCourse, Allyson Dawkins, Michael Kannan, and members of the Ying Quartet. Currently, I study with CJ Chang, Principal of the Philadelphia Orchestra.
