Howdy! Yes, I wear cowboy boots most of the time. I have a nine year old daughter who you may run into on occasion. She's pretty outgoing, and just tells it like she sees it, which can be rather hilarious at times. I have two degrees from Texas Tech University, though I studied some graduate material with the University of Texas at Dallas. I've taught high school algebra/geometry, pre-calculus, and calculus, and I've tutored ex-marines in college algebra. I worked in student affairs for Texas Tech for a decade, and during half of that time, I mentored freshmen and advised other mentors through the Mentor Tech program. You can find my last protege, Saba Nafees, on MSNBC (http://tinyurl.com/saba-msnbc) and more recently in the news here (or just Google her): http://tinyurl.com/saba-nepal.
