ALOOOOHA! I wish I was the cool native hawaiian uke instructor that you've been looking for, but I'm actually just a young college girl from Utah who loves all things music and has a hawaiian middle name - so not as cool, but....cool enough? Hopefully. I've been playing ukulele and guitar for 7 years and taking private voice lessons for 4. For the past 2 years I taught a summer ukulele class for the city recreation program. I've also had 3+ years of formal musical education and training, including that at the college level. My teaching style is fun and simple, but also very adaptable to the varying skills of different students. My main goal for my students is to have fun making music, but also to give them the techniques and skills they need to be more creative and independent in their playing. I have lots of experience with/and love teaching kids! I love music and and I want to help you do the same!
