Worked with children ages 5-8 teaching Music, Dance, and visual art.
My daughter really enjoyed Kayla's lessons. She feels that her natural ability for singing was enhanced through her lessons. We definitely recommend her services.
Kayla is very informative and descriptive about how the body works in producing sound. She not only showed technique but also gave some easy tips on how to improve. Best of all, I finally understand how a raspy sound can occur without damaging the voice! This is a thing I've found difficulty in finding online, in a way that does not damage your vocal cords. All in all, a fun teacher and I recommend her, especially if you like rock/metal as she seems to have a great knowledge of this form of vocals.+ Read More
Kayla is very thorough and knowledgeable. She made sure to finish the lesson, even going over a minute or two. Look forward to my next few lessons.
Very informative, thanks Kayla!
She is very knowledgable, helpful, and personable but not the most punctual. She knows how to communicate her knowledge in a way that is easily understood.
I enjoyed my lesson with Kayla. She helped me understand the basics and encouraged me to practice a lot!
Totally awesome instructor. Kayla has been very helpful in finding out how to turn my weaknesses into my strengths with my voice. Very good advice, works with the material I want help on. I highly recommend working with Kayla if you are serious about improving your vocal skills!+ Read More
I greatly appreciate Kayla's teaching style. I have a huge lack of confidence around my singing ability and Kayla's strong and forward instructions has gotten me past being bashful with my voice. She is a great instructor with an amazing voice and it inspires me to simply sing along.+ Read More
Kayla is wonderful <3
Kayla was professional, knowledgeable, clear, and encouraging. She asked excellent questions to find out my experience and goals, then moved right into effective instruction on warmup exercises around breathing and simple scales. She made me feel comfortable and willing to take risks, and I quickly felt stronger and more confident.+ Read More
I have worked with Kayla over the past five years both in the recording studio and In live performance of my musical, “Love at Last Sight.” She is nery versatile and has a four octave vocal range. She can harmonize or sing lead with great skill and is extremely dedicated to her craft. I reccomend her highly as a vocal instructor. Sincerely, John Guernsey (pianisr & songwriter)+ Read More
