Experienced needlepoint teacher of many years available for eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of stitching skills. Individuals or small groups are welcome.

Katy has over 15 years of experience knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, and needlework of all kinds and many years of teaching all level students. She is available for in person instruction. She tailors each lesson uniquely to her students adjusting at their own pace, while also building a strong foundation of skills so that they feel feel confident working on their own at home. Katy has experience teaching beginning and intermediate knitting to individuals or groups up to twelve people. She is also skilled at helping with specific projects and or troubleshooting patterns.

I had the pleasure of meeting with Katy this afternoon.  She was able to put me at ease right out of the gate.  She is very knowledgeable and is able to communicate the fine points clearly and concisely.  The time passed quickly and I walked away with a new understanding and appreciation for the skill required.  If you are in need of instruction in knitting I can think of no one better.

She was just what I needed, helped me get my project going again.
