If you're looking to have fun AND learn, look no further. Having taught English abroad and currently learning a 2nd language myself (German), I know what it takes to succeed. It's not just about having the right books, worksheets, or apps -- it's about enjoying the process, feeling encouraged and supported, and working with someone who has the flexibility and know-how to guide you. I have experience not only working with English learners, but also simply being immersed in their world. I've lived abroad in 3 different countries - Italy, Germany, and Taiwan. I formally taught English in Taiwan, however, I have extensive informal experience working with English learners. These experiences have informed me in SO many ways! My teaching style is flexible - however, if you're looking for rigid lesson plans and traditional 'by-the-book' instruction, that's not my preferred approach. In my experience, speaking is the quickest way to reach your goals, so oral exercises/structured conversation will definitely be a major part of your lessons.
