Singing with Katina M.

Everyone can sing! As an artist-teacher, Katina uses her training (Doctorate in Musical Arts from USC, Bachelor of Music from Rice) and 20+ years of performance experience to lead students in a fulfilling exploration of music. Her teaching style is highly influenced by the Alexander Technique, functional voice training, and bel canto singing. Her technical approach is rooted in physiological efficiency so that students learn to sing in a healthy way, allowing a versatile approach to all singing styles. Katina welcomes students of all levels, but requires a serious commitment. Prospective students must schedule an in-person interview and audition.
