Hello there! I’m Katie V. I’m new to teaching private lessons, but I have experience working with kids assisting with art at churches as well as assisting with undergraduate college courses at my Graduate University. I have loved helping my students, and I enjoy working one on one or in a group. Whether you are just starting out with art or would like to focus on gaining more knowledge and experience in a specific medium or style, or just want to enjoy a hobby you’ve always been interested in, I would really enjoy working with you! I attended Baylor University for my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a focus on painting and graduated in 2013. I’m currently a Master of Fine Arts Candidate at Houston Baptist University and will be entering my second year in the fall and graduating in 2017. My own work consists of oil painting, mixed media, watercolor, drawing, printmaking, and sculpture. My work is abstract but I can teach both abstract and realistic styles of art! I can’t wait to meet you and start learning together!
