At just 6 months old my mom discovered me humming “Silent Night”. By age 2, I would sit in the bathroom, holding aloft a Reader’s Digest from which I would “read” aloud, belting gibberish at the top of my lungs. Needless to say, my mother quickly enrolled me in the children’s performing group “Sunshine Generation”, since then its been 23 years of singing, dancing, acting, playing piano, playing guitar and playing the ukulele non-stop. I love music and I love teaching! I have been studying the subject for decades now, two and half to be exact. First, in private lessons with wonderful teachers, then in Junior High, and High School. Then I entered the realms of college at Citrus, Riverside City College and received my Bachelors Degree in Commercial Music from Brigham Young University. I am a music composer. I write music, lyrics, and score to Film/TV/promotional videos. I am currently on iTunes. I am loving and caring about the students I teach. I've had experience in teaching individual lessons to over 100+ students, singing with touring jazz orchestras, pop/rock groups and directing choirs. Music is a lifestyle, and it is the lifestyle I love to live. If you want to learn your music skills, let me teach you! Im super fun and I will help you get to the next level! Thanks for reading this, I appreciate it. Don't you feel like you know me a little bit better? *** Lesson Details *** If you take lessons with me, you can expect progression! This takes top priority in my mind. It is very important for my students to know that I encourage keeping track of their progress on their chosen instruments. Setting goals and reaching them can be very satisfying! I recognize that every student has different skill levels and I will teach to the style that they best adapt to. One final note to add, they will be loved! *** Specialties *** Many genres excite me, however, I excel in Pop, Jazz, R&B, Classical, Country, Contemporary Christian, Broadway, and Singer/songwriter.
