My name is Kathryn and I live in Colorado, USA with my 14 year old son whom I home educated for nearly a decade using Rudolph Steiner curriculum and the American elementary school curriculum. He is thriving academically and was just offered a scholarship to an east coast boarding high school.  

I come from a family of educators! My mother was a beloved brick and mortar elementary school teacher and reading specialist for forty years.  My sister is a bilingual speech pathologist. My father dreamed of being a Montessori teacher but took a job in tech to support our family. 

I am an alternative educator, ESL teacher, and yoga teacher. I have taught nearly 2000 online ESL classes to 1000 Chinese students on the VIPKID platform. I love making connections and having fun with my students.

I was an early adopter and co creator of the 'worldschooling' movement and wholly support all sorts of educational paths. 

I look forward to our time together!  We are going to have fun and learn what you need to feel confident and successful.

My name is Kathryn and I primarily teach ESL. I have taught nearly 2000 classes to 1000 Chinese students ages 3 to 16 on the VIPKID  online platform. I can teach adults too! 

I love having fun, getting to know my students, and watching them grow. I like the balance between offering structured lessons on the VIPKID platform and more conversational classes on the Take Lessons platform. 

I live in Colorado, USA with my 14 year old son whom I home educated for a decade using Rudolph Steiner curriculum and the American public school curriculum. He is thriving academically and was just offered a scholarship to an east coast boarding high school. 

I am also a yoga teacher, healing artist, and budding homeopath.

I am currently studying for my masters degree in digital currency and blockchain technology. I accept payment in bitcoin!
