I have been teaching violin, piano, and singing for 48 years. I invite you to join me for online lessons in my teaching studio. Since I have retired from playing violin professionally in symphony orchestras, I am focusing now on developing music students. My husband and I have raised six children, so I really love children! I have taught students from age 4 to age 80! Music is for everyone to enjoy, and my goal is to encourage a greater love and enjoyment of music through lessons.

About Kathryn L.

I have taught music for 48 years to all ages. Since recently retiring from playing violin in professional orchestras, now I am happy to focus on teaching music students. Children are very important to me, having raised six of my own! As an adult, I earned a singing degree from the Royal Conservatory of Music (Toronto) because I love to sing. So I now teach classical singing also. I took seven levels of pedagogy in the Suzuki Method, so I use it in teaching both violin and piano, along with traditional methods, tailored to the needs of the individual student.

The sound quality and visual quality were both excellent; there was also no time lag with sound. I would heartily recommend this method if the lesson cannot be done in person.
