Hello! I am an outgoing, peaceful-tempered professional musician with 13 years of private teaching experience. I pride myself on being sensitive to my students' personalities and learning styles to ensure they have the most effective musical experiences. It is important for my students to feel like musicians as soon as possible during their time with me, so I am open to bringing familiar music into the lessons to keep their interest and get them excited about creating and improving! My instrument proficiencies are: clarinet, piano, voice, guitar, ukulele and world drums. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Performance, a Piano Technician Certification and am currently completing my clinical studies in Music Therapy to become a Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC). I welcome students with developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses and other special needs. I have recently completed fingerprinting with the States of New Jersey and New York, resulting in clean background checks.
