Accent Modification from a PESL-Certified Speech-Language Pathologist

Helping others achieve their communication goals is my passion! As a practicing speech-language pathologist certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association, I am equipped with foundational knowledge of speech sound production and ears trained to the slightest distortion of sounds. In addition, I hold a certification in Pronouncing English as a Second Language (PESL) from the Institute of Language and Phonology. Following the PESL method, my clients receive an individualized curriculum over the course of 13 weekly sessions and lifetime access to an online practice lab from the Institute of Language and Phonology. Hi there! I've been supporting people's communication for the past three years as a speech-language pathologist in the United States and am excited to expand my work to include accent modification services. I graduated with a Master of Science degree in speech-language pathology in 2019 from the top-ranked graduate program in the country Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Accents are by no means a disorder, but my expertise in speech-language pathology gives me a unique skillset to help clients make meaningful changes in their pronunciation of English as a second language. Continually committed to doing all I can to ensure client success, I obtained additional certification in Pronouncing English as a Second Language (PESL) in April 2022.
