English (ESL) with Kathleen F.

Hello! My name is Kathleen Flasco and I have been teaching for 8 years. I am originally from Silver Spring, Maryland and earned my B.A. in History and Secondary Education and History from The University of Maryland. I went on to earn a Master's in Educational Leadership and Administration. I am certified to teach English, Social Studies, and English as a Second Language in the state of Virginia. I have taught diverse groups of students with many different learning styles and needs throughout my career. I currently teach Social Studies and English as a Second Language, but have experience teaching English and Math as well. My goal for my students is to learn in a way that incorporates visuals, vocabulary, and manipulates to encourage retention of material and excitement about content!
