English (ESL) with Kathleen C.

I have been teaching for the past 5 years and cannot wait to help you learn! I got my Bachelor's degree in math and adolescent education in 2012 (I am a certified New York State Teacher). I then got my Master's degree in Adult Education and Literacy in 2016. I have been teaching ESL to adults and children of all ages for the past two years from all over the world. I have also taught both online and in-person. Additionally, I have experience in an office setting and have helped trained students whose first language is not English in the workplace environment. I use a student-centered teaching approach. I relate the lessons to my students' lives and interests to make the lessons engaging for my students. I focus on speaking, listening, grammar, fluency, and comprehension. Learning a new language can be difficult but I try to make it as fun and relaxed as possible. I can't wait to work with you!
