Hello! I am very excited to meet you wherever you are on your musical journey! I am a Boston-based professional violinist/violist with a passion for teaching and performing orchestral and chamber music. I have held faculty positions at the Yamaha Music School of Boston (Lexington, MA), the Performing Arts Center of MetroWest (Framingham, MA), and the ArtsAhimsa Music Festival at Belvoir Terrace (Lenox, MA). I currently maintain a private teaching studio in the Boston area. An active freelancer, I regularly perform with the Portland Symphony Orchestra, New Bedford Symphony Orchestra, and Cape Ann Symphony. I have also played across North America and Europe on the stages of Carnegie Hall, David Geffen Hall, Seiji Ozawa Hall, and Glinka Hall in St. Petersburg, Russia. When not playing classical music, I love to collaborate with folk and bluegrass musicians and have been featured on four albums. I can be found playing at historic venues such as Club Passim (Cambridge, MA) and OBERON (a venue of American Repertory Theatre, Cambridge, MA). I had the privilege of studying with esteemed pedagogues and performers Laura Bossert and Susan Waterbury. I earned a Bachelor of Music Degree from Ithaca College, a Master of Music Degree from the Longy School of Music of Bard College and pursued additional studies at the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music. In my free time I enjoy tap dancing and playing with my beloved black pug Rupert!
