Greetings! My name is Kate and I began writing songs before I could write words! At a young age, I started singing in local choirs and taking piano lessons in order to expand my musical horizons. I began taking voices lessons at the age of fourteen and released my first solo album at the age of sixteen. I performed in musicals and plays, and decided to pursue my degree at University of the Arts in Philadelphia. I graduated in 2011 with a BA in Vocal Performance and have been touring, performing, writing, and teaching ever since. I have over five years experience teaching private voice and piano lessons. My teaching approach relies on communication, creativity, and accountability. Seeing my students succeed brings me joy! You can expect a lesson with me to be filled with smiles and positivity, all the while imparting knowledge and technique to build a strong foundation.
