Ciao and bonjour! My name is Kate. I’m so passionate about foreign language that is has made its way into each of my day jobs. I currently work as assistant director for a youth orchestra in Austria (where I learned German by immersion) and in Denver as an event planner. During my university days, I took French classes and tutored levels I-II. My students were often the LEAST confident, but I made them feel comfortable. And they all passed, if not aced, their exams! When preparing students for their trip to Austria for the orchestra, I emphasize practical phrases as well as tools to help them build their own communicative needs. My environment is friendly for practice at your pace and in your learning style. Whether for school, travel prep, or your personal bucket list, there’s no better use of money than learning a new language. Unless it’s for travel...but we can get there eventually!
