I was born and raised in the Philippines and started playing the piano at the age of 6. Little did I know that that was going to be a start of a lifelong love for music! My first 11 years were under the mentorship of one of the top piano teachers in the Philippines who guided my path to winning competitions, to performing on my own 2 hour piano concert and a nomination for Dean’s Award for Music in Piano at the prestigious Ateneo De Manila University. Shortly after graduating college I moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. I have performed for millions of audiences from all over the world, touring for various shows and being in multiple commercials as well as working for different Disney stage shows. I'd say my strength as a teacher is how much I care for my student's love for music to grow and develop deeply as they take piano lessons with me. I teach a playing based method that allows my students to play music instantly. It is quite different from the traditional way of learning and while some students may prefer traditional lessons, I find that those who try my lessons tend to stay and stick with it for a long time. I teach different styles from pop, classical, blues, accompaniment and also equip students on how to improvise, compose and arrange music.
