I have been teaching clarinet for over 20 years and love it! I have both Bachelors and Masters degrees in Music, specifically in clarinet performance. I believe a good teacher needs to have a lot of playing experience, too, and I have always played in an ensemble throughout the years. In fact, I was a member of the Orchestra at Temple Square and other Salt Lake City area community groups for several years. Most recently I served as Principal Clarinet for the Uintah Basin Orchestra and Choir. Currently I serve as a section leader for the 234th Oregon Band. I look forward to working with you and helping you to accomplish your goals as a clarinet player!

Our son has taken clarinet lessons from Karri, going on four years. He always leaves his lessons uplifted and encouraged even on weeks when he hasn't been able to practice as much as he should have. I highly recommend Karri as a musician, teacher, and mentor. We have had several music teachers for various instruments and Karri has been the best bar none.

We have taken clarient lessons from Karri for, going on four years. Kerri is an expert in her field. As a teacher she is patient, kind, and encouraging. Our son has always left his lessons with her uplifted and encouraged, even when he hadn't gotten a lot of practice time in. I highly recommend her as a teacher, mentor, and musician.
