Classical Voice with Karlee L.

Hi I'm Karlee and I love teaching voice students. I received my Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Language Pathology from Utah State University. I have been teaching private voice instruction for over 11 years, and am passionate about helping singers find confidence and efficiency in singing. I have performed for decades in musical theatre, opera, jazz, choir, and more. Some of my favorite musical theatre and opera roles include Jo in Little Women, Jane in Jane Eyre, Laurie in The Tenderland, and Esmaralda in The Bartered Bride. I also sing jazz in a vocal trio, and as a soloist for various jazz combos. In lessons, I focus on providing each singer with vocal exercises and repertoire specifically suited for their individual voice. I also teach each student the anatomy and physiology of the larynx and respiratory system, and help them improve their performance techniques. I believe the human voice is an amazing instrument, and I love helping people reach their vocal goals.
