My name is Dr. Karen Wilson, and I have a passion for teaching music. After fifty years of teaching at the university level, I recently retired and am pursuing a variety of my passions including taking lessons myself and visiting with family. During my time at Bob Jones University, I was the head of the Music History Department and taught courses in musicology, theory, sight singing, and piano. I continue to be a member of the American Guild Association, the American Musicological Society, MTNA, and perform regularly in local groups in the Upstate. I enjoy teaching young students and have maintained a private studio for years, teaching students of all ages. It is my privilege to teach others to love music as I do!
