Being a Music Teacher in Elk River and St. Paul Area Schools, I teach Orff instruments, teach classroom Music, and Direct Choirs and Concerts. This gives me a tremendous background in all approaches to
Teaching Music. Having half my Masters in Music Education, my Piano and Voices have won State, and National Music Contests! I even have one International Piano Contest winner, and was awarded Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award 2 years in a row!
Learning in the home, they become very comfortable in playing the piano, and have opportunities to sing and perform for other students in occasional groups lessons. There are opportunities to perform in recitals monthly, and earn theory and performance certificates through St. Paul Piano Teachers Assoc. We perform at Mall of America at Christmas time, and have a large Recital at the end of the year!
