I am a music director, theater director, arranger, and performer with degrees in music and theater from Harvard University. I am currently the music director of a world-touring jazz a cappella group and the artistic director and acting teacher at an inclusive and accessible theater company. I grew up as your stereotypical "theater/choir kid," performing in over 50 community and professional musical theater productions, singing in NAFME All-State and ACDA National choirs, and jamming out to music with friends. During college, I developed my oddly intense love/appreciation of music theory thanks to an incredible professor who taught her course almost entirely through Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and Harry Potter music. I have taken private voice lessons for 10 years, studying with various teachers with specialties in classical, musical theater, jazz, Alexander technique, and a unique YogaSing method. I have studied acting for 6 years, although I've been performing for much longer, and have advanced training in Shakespearean acting, improv, and monologue studies. I teach students of all ages, levels, and learning styles (including students that identify as disabled or as having special needs).
