I have always loved entertaining. I've appeared in hundreds of productions onstage, on television and on film. I am an accomplished trained singer, pianist, writer, and director and I have been nominated for several awards in acting, and directing. I am a proud graduate of The Second City Detroit trained in improvisation and sketch comedy, and the International Academy of Design and Technology with a B.F.A. in Digital Media Production. I have made it my life's work mastering these fields and have seen the power of the arts and how it can change people. Vocal students can expect to learn the fundamental techniques of correct singing in order to develop and preserve their voices for a lifetime of singing enjoyment or as a career. I will strengthen each students range, tone, breath, vocal flexibility and theory to take their voice to the next level. Optional emphasis on music theory, note reading and auditioning is available free of charge and is determined by the student at sign up. Piano students can expect to learn the fundamental of piano in a fun and challenging way that will focus on note reading, scales and chord building, playing by ear, and sight reading. By combining music theory in your lessons you will be on the road to composing your own music! Acting students can expect to learn the fundamentals of acting through the combination of scene work, mental and visualization exercises, physical & vocal warm ups, monologues, and audition preparation. Students area of emphasis (film, stage, or audition workshop) must be chosen at sign up and can be changed at any time.

I found the instructor to be very patient and experienced. I am a beginner and have no experience with playing the piano and hopefully will learn from her experience.

What can I say about Kalyse because there are not enough words to do so, however I will try and sum it up. Kalyse is truly gifted in many areas from acting to musical. Her acting skills are phenomenal and her voice is simply amazing on all levels. She is multitalented, innovative, assertive, and very caring. I would recommend anything on the spectrum for her.

I’ve hired Kalyse as an actor multiple times. She’s also a great pianist and guitarist. Anyone would be lucky to have her as their instructor.
