I am a recent college graduate with my degree in English and Africano and Latino Studies. Books have been apart of my life for as long as I can remember and college just showed me the many different aspects of books that there is to know. I love reading books and learning about different cultures. I double majored because learning English literature was not enough for me I wanted to expand my mind to the many different cultures and authors there is out in the world. Having this knowledge I hope to share it because I know deep inside everyone wants to find a book that they can relate too. I will tailor your lessons so you will be able to completely understand what troubles you, and be able to show you the different forms of literature out there to help my students better understand all aspects of English. I also had the amazing opportunity to teach in Ecuador for two weeks. Not being a native Spanish speaker it was difficult but I found ways for my students and I to best understand each other, thus leading to success in me teaching them English in the two weeks I was there.

I’ve known from an early age that helping others grow is where my true passion lies. In January I will be starting a teaching fellowship and I will be teaching special education 1-6. With my range of knowledge I think I can become a great asset to your success in learning English.
