Hello, I'm currently an Adjunct Professor of Percussion at Mars Hill University. I received my Masters of Music Degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and my Bachelor of Music Degree from Mars Hill University. I stay active as a freelance percussionist and have been a featured clinician at numerous college and high school workshops. As a performer, I perform regularly with my percussion trio 10-Can Percussion as well as several orchestras, theaters, and as a solo artist. Having a love for the marching arts, I have participated in Drum Corps International as a member of the Teal Sound Drum and Bugle Corps (2004) and Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps in (2005/2006) and in Winter Guard International as a member of Odyssey Percussion Theater (2008). Most recently, I was the percussion caption head for Carolina Gold Drum & Bugle Corps (2009-2013) and ensemble director for Wake Forest Independent indoor percussion ensemble (2011-2014).

It was just the first lesson, but my daughter really enjoyed it and is looking forward to her next lesson.

During our lessons, Mr. Mabry always provided clear and concise feedback. No matter what my level of preparation was, I could count on unique and insightful comments. Mr. Mabry consistently shed light on aspects of my performance that I had never thought of.
