First off, I absolutely love teaching.  My main focus is to motivate students by teaching them what they want to play while guiding them through proper technique and consistent dedication.  I cater to the individuals musical goals.  Some students want to learn songs, while others want to improvise or learn theory.  I play many styles of music with a heavy focus on improvising for students who are at an intermediate level.  I strive to make learning fun for beginners who will make the effort.  I can teach at home or at the students and I am available on weekends as well.

I grew up listening to a lot of rock music so the guitar was the only instrument for me.  I started playing at 14.  Some of my favorite bands are the eagles, the Beatles, led Zeppelin , Jimi Hendrix, Stp, Dave Matthews, and Radiohead.  I enjoy playing rock, blues, funk, and metal.  Improvising is my strongest skill.  I have a passion for sharing the knowledge and skills I have aquired over the years.
