The study of voice is not one-size-fits all and neither is my approach. It is a training ground to discover and develop the understanding and technique of YOUR voice--singer, performer and communicator.  I believe that exposure to various kinds of genres (especially for younger singers) aids in developing not only the appreciation but also the athleticism that is required when singing. Our goal in the studio is always to focus on creating a healthy and authentic sound while building knowledge and conscious technique. 

We also focus on musicianship, vocal technique and performance (acting) and communicating text/lyrics.

I'm excited to be working with singers in Atlanta.  I've performed and taught in Ohio, Boston and New York and love working with students from all backgrounds and with all musical interests.

We approach ALL styles of singing similarly--finding YOUR voice and YOUR sound and making sure we are training the voice healthy.   

I also bring a director/actor mindset to communicating the song and have years playing the piano so can accompany our time in the studio together.
