My name is Justin and I have been playing guitar for over 20 years. I am always learning new things about not only guitar playing, but music in general. Over the years I have been a regular guitarist at church gigs, played random shows, learned cover songs for band settings, jammed with friends for creative ideas and exploration, and have read, studied, and pushed myself to be a better musician and guitar player. I have taken lessons from local guitar players myself, and I am currently enrolled in Jazz guitar courses in school. I am also pretty strong in my understanding of music theory.

What I have to offer you is a better understanding of music, and better control of your instrument through a more fluent technique. If you are interested, I will do all I can to meet you where you are musically, and help you to get to where you want to be. And at the same time, I would like to help you better understand how the mechanics of music operate so that you can eventually map out your own unique path of where you want to go.
So if you want to have some of the mystery of music unveiled, as well is make your practice time count for more, let me know.

About Justin B.

Listening to Randy Rhoads got me interested in playing the guitar. The first solo of his that really grabbed me was the one he performed in "Over the Mountain." I thought at the time that no one could possibly play any better than that. But over the years I have been exposed to so many incredible players that it is mind boggling. You hear one guy after the next, and there are so many people out there with such great talent, but at the end of the day, you have to find your own voice. So my mission over the past few years has been to learn the fundamentals as best as I can, and build on top of that to develop my own voice with the guitar. You can't bend or break any rules without first knowing them. May we keep stumbling towards perfection.
