Hello prospective students! My name is Julien. I am very excited for the opportunity to teach and share the wonders and joys of music with you. I have played the guitar seriously for 9 years and have taught for the past 5. I have been blessed with the experience of playing with some world class musicians, and was deeply inspired by the love, passion, creativity, and dedication these musicians bestowed upon me. My goal is to share these qualities with my students and help them find their own voice. *** Lesson Details *** You can expect our lessons to be very enthusiastic and fun. The first matter of business is to decipher what exactly it is the student wants out of music. Once this has been discerned, a specific curriculum will charted out for the student. Students can expect to have a lot fun but also work hard. I definitely have a laid back style of teaching because I want the student to feel comfortable and be able to relax. Relaxation is one of the key elements to playing an instrument well! Thank you. *** Studio Equipment *** Living Room: table, chairs,, guitar equipment, sheet music, Chess boards/ pieces/books, cooking utensils and books. *** Travel Equipment *** I can provide sheet music, guitar is necessary. I expect the student to have a guitar at least. I can bring chess equipment, cooking items. *** Specialties *** I specialize in Jazz, funk, rock. I also have experience in classical, blues. I teach chess and also cooking classes.
