While many people possess the content knowledge in a given subject, few have the ability to communicate this knowledge to others. In order to be a good teacher, a person must be able to impart this knowledge in a way students can understand. I believe students should be encouraged to learn in a positive environment that models problems they will encounter in life. My teaching and tutoring methods are based in experiential and mastery learning to ensure students’ true comprehension rather than memorization.
