I was introduced to piano lessons when I was 5 and fell in love with music. Lessons were a part of my life for over 20 years and being comfortable playing in a public setting was a goal I achieved at an early age. For over 10 years I have had the delight of teaching children, teenagers, and some adults the joy of playing the piano! It is a wonderful skill that can bring comfort, joy, and relaxation, both to those who listen and to oneself. Furthermore, it is a great foundational instrument to learn before changing to other instruments if desired. While my experience lies in teaching classical and sacred music, I also know the value of working with my students to develop skills in the areas and styles of music they would like to learn. It is my desire to work individually with each student in a way that instills a love and passion for music and piano playing in each one!
