Hello future student! I love teaching because I get to support a passion for music and learning. I personalize interactive lessons to reflect your strengths and goals. Every student is unique, and I can't wait to learn more about you. I have been teaching viola and violin for 10 years. I hold a Master's degree in Teaching, a Bachelor's degree in Music, and also teach Middle and High School English. I am a freelance performer in the Portland area in symphonies, operas, and chamber concerts. I am always looking for ways to grow and learn along with my students, and welcome any age or level. Feel free to message me with any questions you may have. I look forward to meeting you! Julie
