I have twenty plus years of performing and teaching experience. I have a degree in Piano Pedagogy with certifications in Suzuki Piano and Musikgarten early childhood piano and early childhood music programs. I  teach in classrooms and in my home where I teach group and private lessons. I love to teach all levels including adults. I believe the gift of music should be offered to all no matter what age or background. I teach a variety of genres , including classical music.

I love teaching music to students of all ages. I have experience with multiple methods such as Suzuki and the Kodaly-based Musikgatten program. I have certification in both. I have been teaching piano for over 20 years, I teach group and private lessons, and use performance classes and guild so that students have goals to work toward. I look forward to working with you and your student(s) to help them achieve their goals while developing a lifelong love of music.

Ms Batchelor taught my granddaughters piano and was certainly responsible for their great love of music.  Children naturally have short attention spans and Ms Batchelor was very sensitive to that and made sure every lesson was properly structured and exciting to my granddaughter.   I am sorry Ms  Batchelor has relocated and now lives too far away.

Enjoyed having Mrs. Batchelor as my piano teacher. She is an excellent communicator, which is imperative to good teaching, and I could tell she really cared about my progress as a pianist. My work with her helped me become well-rounded, and this quality made me attractive to medical schools to which I would apply.
