Flute with Julia T.

I started teaching flute and tutoring math while I was still in high school. I have continued to teach either part-time or full-time since. I was the middle school band director at St. Michaels in Greenfield for 7 years as well as directing a home school band, directing two flute choirs and playing in a praise band. I teach all ages of students and have worked with children with learning disabilities. I try to build a rapport with my students and understand what their goals are for learning. I tailor my instructional style to the way that a student learns so that their experience is positive and fun. Teaching is the most rewarding job in the world. I am privileged to be able to teach what I love most - music.
