***Lesson Details***
A personalized plan is made for each student depending on their goals and level of commitment. Intensity varies depending on what the student's goals are, and how much the student is available to fit in practice time. Some students are singing/playing competitively, and some are just singing/playing for fun!
At each lesson we will tune and warm-up, and review the practice assignment from the previous lesson. Julia will congratulate the student on their improvements and then use a variety of methods to help the student become more comfortable with any potential trouble spots. The next part of the lesson will be used to introduce new material.
Most lessons take place at Juia's home studio. For an additional fee, lessons may be booked at the students location or home.
Please note:
-Vocal lessons require a piano. Vocalists requesting in home lessons need to own a piano; a keyboard may even work depending on the maximum decibal output.
-All piano students must have a keyboard or piano available to practice outside of lesson time.
-Guitar players also do need to own a guitar in order to practice outside of lesson time.

Julia was wonderful with our daughter! We will definitely continue with Julia when the play is done!

The teacher was unaware that I paid for lessons that were 45 minutes in length. She thought that they were 30 minutes. The music that she sent me only had the first page of each piece. I liked her very much as well as my son did. First lesson so I don't know that this is a fair assessment yet.

Julia was super organized and “in tune” with my daughter. She gives just the right amount of praise. It’s very genuine. Julia had a real interest in finding the perfect music for my daughter to practice and listen too. My daughter really enjoyed her lesson.

Very encouraging and knowledgeable. Learned alot of new things even in the first lesson!

Great first impression. Good atmosphere

When we walked out of Julia's lesson with Hailey, Hailey said and I quote, "that was the most amazing thing ever!' Hailey is 9 and has never done this before. She wants to have a better singing voice for auditions for theatre, and she truly has found the perfect teacher.

Julia is an attentive and encouraging instructor. I highly enjoyed the lesson.

Julia is a fabulous teacher. My daughter took voice lessons from her and had such a fun time. I highly recommend Julia!

My daughter has really embraced learning the guitar in part to the patience and encouragement Julia provides. The 1-1 attention Julia gives creates a unique and fun learning environment. Lessons with Julia are a highlight to the week so much that my younger son will be starting lessons with her!

Julia is great.
