I am the songwriter for the band Den-Mate, an imprint I started for my music. We have played everywhere from 9:30 Club to Black Cat to Rock N Roll Hotel, to SXSW, as well as several national tours across the country. For the band, I record the songs myself, performing every instrument, from Keys/Synth, Drums, Guitar, Bass, Vocals, and even sound samples.

I can show you how to play piano with basic music theory and songwriting skills. Whether you have a midi keyboard, a laptop, a casio, a grand piano, or any other sort of keyboard, we can dive into how to be a great piano player. We can also learn recording, songwriting, and what it takes to be a competent piano player.

I am a lead songwriter, guitarist & drummer for a few touring bands. I have over 10 years experience in drums, guitar, and vocals, and can also teach songwriting and basic recording. I am happy to teach you songs you want to learn and cater the lesson plan to your taste, while giving you a foundational musical education in the process. Ultimately, I want to help make you the musician you want to be! I also specialize in helping girls and women find confidence to learn a musical instrument and perform. Music and songwriting has helped me in countless ways in my life, and I look forward to unlocking that same passion in you. I live in Vienna but can easily travel to anywhere in the DMV.
