I participated in children's choir at my church and school from a very early age! I was taught how to read music and basic instruction on tons of instruments! I was cast as Mary in the Christmas play in the 8th grade and sang many other solo roles. I was also chosen by the director to learn to play the recorder for a specific program we were performing for the parents. My young music exposure created a love of music and brings me such joy to be able to share that love with my students!

Cathedral of St Jude the Apostle

This was a volunteer position with the music ministry at St. Jude's. I worked with Michelle Rego, and directed the students while they were singing, ran rehearsals when the director was unavailable to, and helped with teaching the children basics about singing. In the later years, I helped Michelle develop a specialty children's ensemble choir who performed specifically for the Bishop and at the Bishop's special events. My specialty and true love is working with children ages 5-12. The special relationship and bond I built with the children I worked with has been amazing! I wrote a children's Christmas song for the choir to sing at Christmas mass.

I have almost always participated in adult choir at church. I love being immersed in music and the sounds of harmony make my heart happy. I have sung with every type of choir from specialized diocesan choir, to advanced choir to ensembles, including folk mass style of ensembles. I have participated in Christmas programs and have also sung as a cantor at mass, including singing for specialty ceremonies at church.
