I have a passion for explaining how the physical world works through math and physics along with 10 years of tutoring experience in those subjects, test prep, and mentorship programs. My approach is to use interactive teaching which seeks to involve the student in finding the solutions and reinforcing the concepts as long as necessary to provide the necessary tools to tackle the activities. Lessons typically start with a review of the concepts, reinforcing any areas in doubt and then proceed to exercises where we can put in practice the concepts.

I'm a professional Civil engineer with a passion for teaching. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to teach kids, teenagers, and classmates in a friendly, simple and rewarding way.

My goal is to review the concepts needed to understand how to solve problems and then tackle them in an open way between students and I, forming some sort of discussion where we find different ways to solve the exercises and learn in the process.

Juan and I met in 2008. He actually helped me pass my math classes in my last two years of high school through personal tutoring classes (2008 and 2009). He is very patient and kind to his students. He makes complex math problems seem simple.  His background in civil engineering helped him have a vast understanding of different topics such as physics, and mathematics. I don't know what I would have done in high school if it was not for him.
