Bonjour, My name is Jean-Philippe and I have taught French in a variety of settings (small classrooms, larger classrooms and one-on-one settings) for over 25 years. I have taught well over 250 students. Teaching for so many years has allowed me to strengthen my teaching skills and ability to share all the different aspects of the French language with French language learners. I specialize in getting my students to learn how to speak French quickly, and I make it a point to help them accomplish their goals. I am easy-going and flexible, with the ability to adapt to my students' needs and levels, as I focus on result-oriented outcome. I look forward to helping you meet your needs and developing your language proficiency skills.

JP is great! He is patient and presents everything in a way I can understand. He keeps the lesson light-hearted and with humor which keeps me relaxed and more eager to learn. Looking forward to my next lesson.

JP is great. I'm very please with JP. He shows up to every lesson and is always engaged. He is kind and easy to speak with. If you are an adult learner and re-engaging with French, JP will be an excellent guide.

Me and my partner have been taking French lessons with JP since 2021! I even posted a review back then after our first lesson that was 5 stars. JP is very patient, creates engaging content, and organizes the lessons to practice and introduce new vocabulary and grammar. I had never studied French before, but now can read basic texts and can engage in some conversations. Not bad for an hour a week!
