I started teaching violin when I was 13 years old, but my professional career began when I went to Temple University in Philadelphia as a music major. My purpose was to become a music teacher with a concentration on violin. I learned to play every instrument and loved it, even though I really I struggled with the piano. I've worked with hundreds and hundreds of students over the past 30 years in private lessons, small groups, string ensembles and symphonic orchestra. My goal has always been to help students understand HOW to learn to coordinate their brain, body, ears, eyes, and voice to work together, using an instrument as an expressive musical tool. I am currently employed as a music teacher in Pennsylvania, and I have the professional certifications and background check documents required of PA teachers.
