Free Lance with Mom

My mom is a professional, Wilton certified, cake decorating instructor. She has a couple hundred students that call her personally and require her and my assistant for last minute wedding cakes, baby shower cakes, birthdays, cupcakes, everything. Over the last 7 years, we have designed and decorated countless cakes together.

Joann Fabric and Crafts

Taught kids, teens, and adults cake decorating. These techniques include holding a bag, piping, flowers, decoration, and various frosting techniques.

Kelso High School

Managed all club activities. Incorporated culture shock between the USA and Japan to better appreciate the smaller differences in our own community. Taught Japanese culture and key words to students who were interested in bettering their language skills. Became am outlet and counselor to high school students who needed help in their personal life. Created life long friends and life changing impacts to a group of 30 high school kids.

Kelso/Makinohara Sister City Foudation

Communicate relations between Japan and Kelso, Washington. Engage in a 2 week exchange both ways where people from Kelso, Washington travel to Makinohara, Japan for two weeks and people from Makinohara, Japan visit Kelso, Washington for two weeks. I acted as a translator for both groups, being one of the only representatives fluent in both languages.

Frosting the Town

Decorated cakes and managed business in a fast paced bakery. Fulfilled orders of hundreds of cupcakes, birthday cakes, and wedding cakes. Modeled fondant, and worked with various types of frosting and frosting techniques.
