My teaching philosophy is based in the belief that learning music should be fun and exciting! I always encourage my students to pursue the kind of music that they find most appealing. Rather than using the same curriculum and method book, I work with each of my students to develop a unique curriculum centered around their individual interests and goals. I enjoy working with students of all ages but I specialize in working with children (ages 3 and up for piano, ages 7 and up for guitar). I teach private lessons full time and have had the privilege of working with hundreds of students ranging from raw beginners with no experience to advanced players seeking specialized training.
