Sing at your own pace with a patient, knowledgable, 5-star instructor.

Singing is one of the most challenging and rewarding areas of musical performance. It's so personal and expressive that a lot of us feel uncomfortable approaching the voice at all. I've been singing and performing for over a decade. Using proper breathing technique and customized warm-ups I can help you become the best possible singer you can be!

Currently available for new students. Lessons can be explorative, structured, soothing, a fun challenge, or all of the above. Teaching is my passion and privilege. I specialize in contemporary piano and voice performance, songwriting, and music production. My goal in lessons is to foster a creative, supportive, and collaborative environment. I work with students of all ages and levels of experience. Whether you are new to music or are looking to improve your skills, you are welcome. In addition to teaching, I am an independent artist and producer based in Boston, MA and have written, produced, and performed on a number of EPs, singles, and full-length albums (joshfriedmanmusic). I love to cater each lesson to individual student needs. Whatever your goals are in music I will provide the structure, resources, and space to get you there. Looking forward to making music with you!
