- Teaching since:
I am a fun-loving, calm, and patient person, skilled in teaching students of all ages and communicating with them. I started playing music at the age of five when my mother signed me up for piano lessons. While in elementary school, I have participated in several NYSMA festivals and talent shows in the area.
In middle school, I attended Nathaniel Hawthorne MS74 where I learned to play the oboe, and received my ABRSM Grade 5 Piano and music theory qualifications. I participated in the Queensborough-wide senior band and performed as an oboist at Carnegie Hall on June 2010.
During high school, I attended the Bronx High School of Science and also received my ABRSM Grade 8 Piano qualification. I also volunteered at Queens Library's Bayside Branch, teaching reading, grammar, writing, mathematics, and basic chess to children.
In recent years I have been attending the City College of CUNY and am currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Also, I have started composing/arranging pieces on the Musescore platform.
I am flexible, and able to cater to a student's goals and passions. For music and piano, students will learn music theory, technique, notation, sightreading, listening, and basic classical pieces. For academic studies, students will learn common core material, school curriculum/syllabus material or personal requests.

Since 1963, members of a single professional society have achieved virtually every milestone in modern American flight. That society is the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. With more than 30,000 individual members from 88 countries and 95 corporate members, AIAA is the world’s largest technical society dedicated to the global aerospace profession. Created in 1963 by the merger of the two great aerospace societies of the day, the American Rocket Society (founded in 1930 as the American Interplanetary Society), and the Institute of the Aerospace Sciences (established in 1933 as the Institute of the Aeronautical Sciences), AIAA carries forth a proud tradition of more than 80 years of aerospace leadership.+ Read More
I learned how to read music and practice properly from him. He is super patient and pushes his students to do great. His lessons are worth every penny. Just keep up with the lessons he teaches you and you won't fail him or yourself.
He taught me how to find major chords on the piano and how to properly play piano with correct fingering. He is very patient and has a great sense humor!
