I am a recent graduate from Rutgers University with a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics! I have tutored as math instructor at a local Mathnasium facility throughout the summers, during my senior year of high school, and whenever I have come back from college. Students will have the opportunity to massively improve their fundamentals in algebra and operational calculations on a weekly basis. Although each student learns in a different way, I teach through repetition and self-assessments in order for students to actively problem-solve while building the consistency and confidence to excel toward future exams and tests. As a college student who has gone through the rigors of accelerated math and college courses throughout my middle school and high school experience with great success, I can help students find the confidence and consistency needed to excel in these courses. I teach math to students at varying ages and levels within the concepts between elementary school math to fundamental algebra and introductory calculus. I can teach strategies to approach word problems with step-by-step procedures and techniques to solve and interpret equations through simplification and organization. While excelling in higher level classes is noteworthy and can serve as a strong reflection of a student’s abilities, I firmly believe that having a strong mastery in the fundamental basics of math and maintaining consistency in calculations in terms of minimizing errors is critical for every student. I’m excited to be able to have the opportunity to work with your student and I look forward to help them achieve their goals and dreams.
